• Question: does this work with the iphone

  Answer: It WILL work with an iPhone, and most Android phones. You just need to also purchase a 2.5 mm (female) to 3.5 mm (male) adapter. (This headset has a 2.5 mm pin/plug, and the iPhone has a 3.5 mm socket.) These adapters are available on Amazon for around $4. I had looked quite extensively for a headset with a 3.5 mm pin (also know as plug or jack) without success. They just do not seem to be available in a headset of this quality. However, I have used this set up for several years now when working from home (or even in the office) and it works well! The headset will fail before the adapter does.

• Question: Does this headset have a mute on/off button? I'm looking for a headset where the mute button does not have to be "held down" for mute to work.

  Answer: Ditto to the other responses - you need to hold the button down to stay muted. When on long conference calls, I frequently put myself on mute and this feature's function has not been an issue because both my LAN and mobile phones have mute buttons.

• Question: Is this for use on land lines?

  Answer: It works on panasonic land line phones

• Question: can you answer and end call from headset

  Answer: There is nothing on the headset that will end the call. The only switch it has is a mute or call hold switch. Hope this helps.

• Question: Does this work with Blackberry cell phones?

  Answer: This headset comes with 2.5mm jacks whilst Blackberry uses 3.5mm inputs. Technically you can buy a converter for the input but I am not sure if that will work.

• Question: I have office phone. Ok to use this headset too? Thanks for checking.

  Answer: I have no idea what type of jack your office phone has to give you a yes or no answer. If headphones for most MP3 players and cell phones work fit nicely into the headset slot than you have 3.5mm connection and it will not work unless you buy a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter. If they are loose than you have a 2.5mm slot and it will work with this headphone.

• Question: Where is the spot for the non contact pillowy part supposed to sit on the head?

  Answer: Not exactly sure what you are referring to. However the part opposite the earpiece sits about an inch above my other ear on my head (temple). This headset seems quite comfortable and is easily adjustable. I hope this helps.

• Question: Is the mic boom removable?

  Answer: If you are talking about the little dial ...it just adjusts the volume and can mute and it is not removable

• Question: does this headset have the answer on/off button it? I am looking to buy it for a handicapped employee and she cannot use the standard phone answering button, it would work best if it was on the cord itself to answer/disconnect the phone.

  Answer: The Headset does not have an answer on/off feature. You have to push the necessary buttons on the phone. It does have a volume control and a mute button in the cord.

• Question: Will this work with panasonic kx-tg985?

  Answer: I think so. Out phone is a Panasonic KX-TGA31T

• Question: I have a panasonic model #kx-tgea20. a standard set of earbuds does not fit the jack. will this headset fit the jack on this phone as it is smaller.

  Answer: Yes. This will work with a Panasonic KX-TGEA20 cordless phone.

• Question: is it compatible with the panasonic kx-dt343? had anyone been able to make it work with that specific model (kx-dt343)?

  Answer: Yes it is compatible. Plug in your headset via the 2.5mm headset jack on the side of the phone, then follow these simple steps:

  Press the Program Button.
  Hit 6 & 1 on keypad. Screen should show Headset Mode.
  Press Auto Dial / Store Button.
  Press up arrow till screen shows “Headset On”
  Press Auto Dial / Store Button.
  Press the Program Button.

• Question: Does this work for an at&t office phone #1070?

  Answer:It will work with any 2.5mm port phone. So yes. 

• Question: Does this fit other cordless Panasonic phones?

  Answer: I believe it has a very generic jack, should fit most phones.

• Question: Does this work with a Samsung Galaxy s5?

  Answer: This headset has a 2.5mm connection. Most smartphones have a 3.5mm connection for headphones. You will need an adapter to make this headset work for you.
